Off The Rack V1 2024

To our Valued Partners:

As we close out another successful year and look forward to 2024, I want to reflect on how deeply I appreciate that trust that you have placed in Advance year over year.  We know that trust is earned with every order and we strive to ensure that you receive a safe, high quality rack system that meets your expectations, always delivered on time.  Advance is off to a great start for 2024 and will continue to invest in our team with additions in sales, estimating and engineering, all focused on improving our customer service and performance levels.

I was honored to chair the committee that developed RMI’s new R-Mark standard last year.  There are several key upgrades to the R-Mark Certification program for 2023:

  • Going forward R-Mark certification can only be applied on a project-by-project basis with the conditions for the specific job site incorporated to the design. The design of every R-Mark certified project must be approved by a qualified engineer.
  • Certifications can only be provided by the original manufacturer and can no longer be generally applied to a product line or load table.
  • Each manufacturer will certify annually that they are in full compliance with the R-Mark standards.
  • And finally, a manufacturer must have a qualified design engineer on staff with the responsibility for oversite of the R-Mark process.

The drive behind the standard upgrade is to provide 100% assurance that when an end user sees a system badged with the R-Mark certification, they can be confident that the system meets all appropriate RMI design, materials, manufacturing & installation standards appropriate for that specific job site.  Advance has completed the certification process and all projects that we ship meet the new R-Mark standard!

Please come see us at Modex Booth C6669 in Atlanta!  Modex has grown in size and stature over the years, now rivaling Promat in impact and importance.  We are very excited about our new Pallet Shuttle offering (the ISATellite, produced by Cassioli)!  This semi-automated pallet shuttle is ideal for high-density storage and can handle depths that exceed 30 or more pallets.  Come visit us at Booth C6669 to see it in full operation!

In closing, Advance is in a great position entering 2024.  We have a strong team, excellent manufacturing and most importantly a great customer base!  We look forward to visiting with you at Modex in March, thank you for your continued support and partnership.

15,000+ Additional Pallet Positions

15,000+ Additional Pallet Positions

This customer makes frozen food and needed expanded storage for their manufacturing capabilities.  Our team installed over 11,000 pallet positions of selective, double deep reach and drive-in racking into a large cooler to keep the frozen food stored.  This mix of structural racking will provide the selectivity to support high turnover, high SKU stock count and quick product accessibility.

We added another 4,500 pallet positions of dry storage for non-refrigerated product.  4,100 positions of painted drive-in racking and a few hundred more selective pallet positions.  These ambient storage areas will help support the flow of non-perishable SKUs.

9,600 Pallet Positions

One of our distributors is finishing up this project in the Southwest for a consumer product customer.  9,600 total pallet positions mostly consisting of 5 deep pushback pallet racking.  This system provides the ability to store several SKU’s in a LIFO configuration, ideal for this customers’ throughput needs.
