Lo Pro™ Pushback (2-6 Deep)
What Is Advance Lo-Pro™ Pushback?
Advance Lo-Pro™ Pushback is a high-density, low-profile pushback pallet racking system designed to maximize storage capacity while maintaining smooth, reliable pallet flow. Pallets are stored on nested carts that travel on inclined rails, allowing multiple pallets to be stored deep while all loading and unloading occurs from the aisle.
Lo-Pro™ Pushback operates on a Last-In / First-Out (LIFO) inventory flow and is commonly configured 3 to 6 pallets deep, allowing operations to precisely balance density, selectivity, and throughput.
Advance Lo-Pro™ Pushback can increase warehouse storage space by 25%–65%, with configurations from 2–6 deep. For example, 4-deep systems are engineered to increase space up to 45%, and 6-deep systems can increase space up to 65% when SKU depth supports it.
2 Deep Pushback – up to 25%
3 Deep Pushback – up to 25%
4 Deep Pushback – up to 45%
5 Deep Pushback – up to 55%
6 Deep Pushback – up to 65%
Pushback is a strong fit for food distribution, beverage, and grocery where you want dense reserve storage behind pick faces, and for cold storage where cube is expensive and aisle reduction is a major ROI driver.
*For 6 deep pushback to be efficiently utilized, a warehouse will need 24-30 of the same SKU’s in each position.
Why Depth Matters in Pushback Design
Selecting the right pushback depth is a critical design decision. Deeper lanes increase density by reducing aisle count, but also require:
Consistent SKU quantities per lane
Controlled pallet flow and replenishment
Alignment with picking and replenishment strategies
Advance Lo-Pro™ Pushback allows facilities to choose the depth that best fits their SKU velocity, pallet profile, and operational priorities.
Structural pushback is ideal for demanding DCs (food/beverage/grocery) and cold facilities where lift traffic, impact risk, and long lifecycle value are priorities. Structural rack’s durability and impact resistance are key advantages.
Structural Pushback:
Roll form pushback is selected when budget and faster deployment are priorities and rack contact is limited. Because roll form members can be more damage-susceptible, pairing with robust guarding and disciplined lift practices is recommended.
Roll Form Pushback:

High Pallet Counts
Mid-level SKU Counts
How To Select The Right Depth Of Pushback:
As a general rule of thumb, for pushback systems to be efficiently utilized, there must be roughly 4-5 times the number of SKU’s of an item in the facility than the depth of the storage lane.
For example, if using 2 deep pushback, there should be at least 8-10 of the same SKU with in the facility, likewise for 6 deep to be well utilized, you would need 24-30 of the same SKU’s. Oftentimes facilities will be designed with a combination of different depths of storage (selective to 6 deep) to make best use of the floor space.
