John Krummell
President, CEO
John Krummell has been with Advance since 1989 and has grown the company from 5 employees to more than 250. John began his career as Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting, and was later the President of JBI Industries. John is active in the RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) Leadership, and serves as chair of Pallet Rack Safety Committee. John serves on the board of the Long Beach Metro YMCA and has held multiple leadership roles in YPO (Young President's Organization) including chapter chair and manufacturing network chair. He holds a BSIE from USC and an MBA from UCLA.
Jeff Howard
Chief Commercial Officer
Jeff joined the Advance Team in 2016 after spending several years as the Sales Leader at Dana Corporation and then 12 years as the Sales Leader at Interlake Material Handling, the largest US rack manufacturer. Jeff coaches youth sports, has held several leadership roles at Aliso Creek Church and is involved in the Compton Initiative. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from Denison University.
Logan Kebeli
Chief Transformation Officer
Dr. Kebeli has more than 30 years of experience in engineering design and leadership. He has a strong passion in engineering, and strives for results focused, value-added, and innovative solutions. Prior to joining Advance Storage Products, he was VP of Engineering at AGI, a leading manufacturer of storage, handling, structures, processing, and controls in grain, feed, and food. Logan earned his Ph.D. and MSc. degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Ankara University. He is an active member of RMI, ASCE, AISC, ASABE, licensed Professional Engineer, holds Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and has certificates in Product Development, Leadership, Strategy and Project Management.
Rich Trombino
Chief Finance Officer
Rich was born in New York, raised in San Diego and now has spent the better part of his professional career in Orange County. Earning his bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from San Diego State University, Rich has 25 years of finance leadership for global operations, including serving as a director on the boards of a Chinese joint venture, an India subsidiary and a Brazilian corporation.
Rich's last role was as CFO for Arlon Graphics, LLC where he helped build a multi-national manufacturing and distribution company into a global leader in the graphic vinyl films industry.
Elena Linnar
HR Manager
Elena Linnar started with Advance in May, 2021 after 21 years with Cape Environmental Management, a Department of Defense contractor specializing in engineering, construction, and environmental remediation. Elena’s experience includes HR Management & Leadership, Labor Law, Team Building, HRIS/HR Policy & Procedures, End-to-End Recruiting, Benefits, Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations/Conflict Resolution, Compensation and EEO Compliance.
Elena holds a B.A. in Education from California State University, Long Beach and is both PHR and SHRM-CP certified.
Barry Dowda
Vice President of Operations
Barry Dowda has been appointed Vice President of Operations, assuming responsibility for overseeing all Advance manufacturing operations across its facilities. In this role, Dowda will focus on operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement to ensure Advance delivers consistent quality, reliability, and responsiveness for customers.

Advance began designing and manufacturing steel storage products in 1958 and has been owned and operated by the Krummell family ever since. Our family owned warehouse storage company is dedicated to working in partnership with customers to find the best solutions to their material storage needs.
