As we say goodbye to the long winter and welcome the spring, I am optimistic about the economy and the positive movement in the materials handling industry.  Advance is experiencing some of the economic recovery with record sales in 2013 and continued growth in 2014.

The RMI has recently released the new guideline "Assessment and Repair or Replacement of Damaged Rack."  This guideline is the industry's first effort to provide a real world process to follow to ensure that rack repair work is performed safely.  As chair of the committee that wrote the document, I came to appreciate how much care is required to perform rack repair properly.  My major takeaway from the nearly yearlong development effort is that it is absolutely necessary to perform any repair work under the supervision of a highly qualified engineer.

As always, please contact us if we can help you with your warehouse storage needs.

Sincerely,
John Krummell, President/CEO Advance Storage Products
