Sales Account Manager

Location:  Huntington Beach, CA

Position Summary:

The Sales Account Manager will be focused on delivering new business relationships and sales that will drive revenue and profit for Advance Storage Products. The incumbent will cultivate new partnerships and expand the existing client based. They should always be looking for to exceed the customers expectations, earn new work, optimize profitability, and understand every need of our customer. Work cross-functionally to ensure a smooth process for the client.

What you will do

  • Build and develop successful sales strategies for ASP core product lines
  • Meet and exceed sales plan goals for revenue, profit margin, and new customer generation
  • Effectively make strategic pricing decisions to maintain margins
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customers and market
  • Build and manage new business pipeline; nurture ongoing client relationships in support of recurring revenue streams, targeting accounts and opportunities
  • Build, expand, and support long-term relationships with customers, the Advance Team, and suppliers
  • Ability to forecast opportunities and manage accordingly for conversion
  • Proactively coordinate with ASP team to ensure excellent customer service and job profitability
  • Liaise closely with marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting
  • Communicate regularly to appropriate parties regarding goal progress, new business opportunities, and status of projects

Experience and Competencies you will possess

  • 3+ years minimum outside B2B sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Material Handling industry experience and Wholesale/Distributor Channel Sales preferred
  • Superior inter-personal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Self-started, highly motivated and achievement oriented; proven ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without supervision
  • Prior experience in facilitating sales meetings and ability to influence business leaders to close the transaction
  • Strong business acumen with understanding basic financial principles
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational and time management skills
