Advance Storage Products is seeking a self-starting project manager to join our team!  The Project Manager will hold primary responsibility for ensuring that projects are managed efficiently and effectively, including managing schedule, budget, safety, and quality and customer satisfaction.  The Project Manager will oversee the project from kick-off until final walk-thru and sign-off with the customer (including final payments).  The primary goal is to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget, while meeting all of our customers’ expectations.  He/She will collaborate with Sales, Sales Admins, Engineering, Accounting and the Operations teams as necessary.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payable (AP) staff, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of receivables and on-time payment to suppliers
  • Collaborate with and educate non-accounting department staff on their roles in ensuring timely payment of invoices (purchase orders, receiving, approving and forwarding invoices to accounting, etc.)
  • Manage revenue recognition process in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Prepare journal entries and accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with (GAAP)
  • Contribute to timely, accurate and reliable month-end financial close
  • Assist in periodic physical inventory counts
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance including:
    • Balance sheet
    • Income statement
    • Bank accounts
  • Perform variance analyses
  • Assist Controller with annual, 3rd party, CPA Review, 401K and other audits
  • Assist Controller with quarterly and annual income tax preparation
  • Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures
  • Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team and / or with other departments
  • Maintain fixed asset system
  • Monitor and make improvement recommendations to internal controls
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA desired
  • 5 years of relevant experience including 2 years supervising AR & AP
  • Experience with accounting & ERP systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform independently and function well in a team-oriented environment
  • Highly detail-oriented

Location: Cedartown, GA

Advance Storage Products is looking for a dynamic maintenance manager to join the Advance Team!  This position will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of our Cedartown facility.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure all safety requirements are met, and complies with all corporate policies and OSHA rules
  • Assist and supervise maintenance team in repairs, troubleshooting, and operations of all building and plant equipment
  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions
  • Orders necessary equipment parts
  • Conducts regular inspections and ensures the upkeep and maintenance of all areas
  • Keeps a record of all day to day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent working experience
  • Two or more years supervisory experience in a maintenance environment

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Advance Storage Products is seeking a dynamic individual for a junior position in the Information Technology department with exposure to multiple IT disciplines, including System Administration, Networking, and Information Security.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor network performance and connectivity
  • Monitor logging, endpoint detection and response, and other security systems
  • Gain understanding of enterprise systems
  • Track and manage support tickets
  • Image and install end user workstations
  • Coordinate hardware repair of systems
  • Work with helpdesk staff to provide deskside support
  • Maintain IT asset inventory.
  • Assist and enhance department documentation.
  • Maintain and update systems automation scripts using Powershell
  • Handling IT projects not necessarily limited to support; you may be trained in other technologies such as: Active Directory, Systems Management with SCCM, Network Configuration and Troubleshooting, Sharepoint, Server Infrastructure and VMWare, Mobile Device Management, Vulnerability Management.

Qualifications:

  • A desire and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, i.e. Systems, Security, or Networking Administration
  • Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data, configuration, or processing information
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organized, with close attention to detail.
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
  • Powershell, python, or other programming experience a plus.

Advance Storage Products is seeking a dynamic Plant Engineer to join the Advance Engineering Team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plans and designs manufacturing processes in plant including process control planning
  • Supports production with expertise and problem solving of product, design and assembly issues
  • Conducts root cause analysis and implementation of effective solutions
  • Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work force utilization. Proposes solutions to manufacturing problems
  • Determines and documents preferred manufacturing methods, approves changes to methods
  • Determines equipment, parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
  • Must be able to communicate effectively across functional groups (e.g., other department supervisors and shop personnel)
  • Supports purchasing in the development of supply base and supply problem resolution
  • Has a hands on approach to quality problem solving and quality checks

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in a metal fabrication and welding environment
  • Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures with the metal fabrication industry
  • Working knowledge of safety principles and practices
  • Previous experience working with lean manufacturing principles
  • Working knowledge of quality control principles, including statistical methods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve problems quickly
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to positively influence change
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, AutoCAD a must)

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Prepare technical drawings, engineering calculations, design guidelines and specifications, estimate projects, enter product orders, perform structural calculations and engineering design work, and release projects to manufacturing for fabrication.  Assist manufacturing, sales and customer service.  Conduct occasional project site visits, new product developments and product testings.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with estimating of projects from start to finish (from doing take-offs to running structural analysis, getting outside quotes, hardware, freight an dinstallation quotes.).
  • Engineering of structural racking and structural components.
  • Design new products and custom parts and participate in new product development and engineering initiatives.
  • Assist with manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting, manuals development, documentation creation and testing activities for rack systems to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes and/or customer requirements.
  • Prepare bill of materials and specifications for projects, products, materials and/or equipment.
  • Support project design and production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within established budget.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts for design to market speed, lean product development, value engineering and innovative designs.
  • Visit job sites for measurements, inspections, installer walk-thru’s and to assist with sales calls.
  • Perform other miscellaneous engineering duties as required and assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • BSc. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related field of study from an accredited college/university.  Professional Engineer (PE) strongly desired.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in product design and manufacturing.
  • Experience successfully working and interacting with customers, suppliers, engineers and other stakeholders at multi-levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong system analysis, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Innovative, self-motivated and well organized.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration skills in a team environment are required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, provide excellent attention to detail and be willing and able to learn new technologies, quickly.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiar with FEA and other structural analysis and design software.
  • Efficient in AutoCAD and able to turn full project drawing sets over to cities for approval and permits.  Includes cover sheets, plan views, elevation views, detail sheets and bill of materials.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Inventor, Revit, RISA, SAP2000 or Visual Analysis is preferred.

Position Scope:

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to shop drawings, specifications or other forms of instruction.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Proficient in assigned welding techniques
  • Interpretation of shop drawings, including weld wire symbology
  • Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized metal
  • Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) Conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Process inspection, certification, and documentation
  • Welding equipment maintenance
  • Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
  • Safety and housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience
  • Ability to read tape measure
  • Successful completion of an internal welding test
