Started in 1958 in southern California and still family-owned today, Advance has become a leading structural rack system producer, serving customers in the US and abroad. Advance manufactures over 100,000,000 lbs. of structural rack solutions per year, routinely shipping projects in excess of $5,000,000. ASP production facilities are state-of-the-art rack system manufacturing facilities located in Cedartown, Georgia and Salt Lake City, Utah. Advance produces nearly half of the pushback systems sold in the US and offers all types of long-lasting structural pallet storage systems from static selective rack to dynamic, high density systems as well as rack supported order fulfillment structures including pick and flow systems.

Advance was founded in 1958 in Compton, California and has been a family-owned warehouse storage company ever since.

1958 Advance Equipment Co. started
1965 First plant in Compton
 1975  Hoover Street Plant Opened.  Electronic Work Bench Line Created
 1982  Hoover expanded to 50,000 SF
 1985  Work Bench Business sold.  Hoover St. closed.  Advance Storage Products Started.
 1989  First 2 Deep pushback job sold to Ralphs Grocery (10,000 lanes, $2.6M).
 1992  Lo Pro pushback line introduced and patented
 1992  Boeing Project ($8M high bay system)
 1996 Rockmart Pushback plant opened (20,000 SF)
 1998 Rockmart plant at capacity
 2004 Cedartown Plant opened, pallet rack line introduced (100,000 SF)
 2006 Cedartown plant at capacity
 2014 Salt Lake City plant opened (65,000 SF)

Standard Terms and Conditions (Resale Projects)

Capacity Ratings: Unless otherwise noted all products provided are rated based on Advance standard load tables for installations at sites with no seismic activity. If requested, Advance will certify load capacity for specific installation locations to comply with RMI specifications. This certification will be provided in writing with the job approval package and is valid only for the identified project. Stamped calculations can be provided at an additional cost.

Customer Provided Specifications: Advance will certify capacity for customer specified systems if we are provided with stamped calculations from an Advance approved structural engineer, otherwise all products provided are rated based on Advance standard load tables for installations at sites with no seismic activity.

Pricing: Prices are valid for 30 days. To provide the most accurate pricing, unit prices are calculated uniquely for each job. Changes to quantity or job size may affect prices, both up or down.
